Welcome to the land of Dracula (Romania)

I wanted to visit Dracula's castle, so I decided to fly to Romania for the extended weekend on August 15th. I stayed there from August 15th to 17th.

Day 1

Walking in Bucharest

Le soir, j'ai dîné chez Caru' cu Bere, un restaurant typiquement roumain magnifiquement décoré et très animé.

Day 2

Visit of Peleș Castle

I loved visiting Peleș Castle, it's wonderful! Each room is filled with beautiful furniture, statues, and other decorative objects, all of which are more beautiful than the last.

Visit of Brașov

Brașov is a very cute city, but we only had 1 hour of free time to visit it. It was not enough to eat at a restaurant for lunch and visit the city. I think 2 hours minimum would have been perfect, but it wasn't possible because the day's schedule was packed, and with the distances to cover and traffic, we would have gotten back to Bucharest very late (we got back a little before 10 PM).

Visit of Bran Castle (Dracula)

This visit to Bran Castle disappointed me because the castle didn't have the charm of Peleș Castle. From the outside, the castle is beautiful, but inside, nothing exceptional. All the people I know who have visited this castle have also been disappointed.
