The Pink City (Toulouse, France)

During a 4-day weekend (2015), my mother and I jumped in a train to go to Toulouse the beautiful!

The Bastille Day (14th of July) was perfect to visit this pink city.

Toulouse is called "Pink City" because many of its buildings are pink. Its architecture is made of pinkish terracotta bricks.

I've already said it but Toulouse is wonderful! And Toulousians are so welcoming! Always ready to help you. No need to ask, if they see you with a map, they rush to the rescue! I was kind of surprised because I'm from Paris and it's not he same thing overthere! ;-)

We visited the city during 4 days and it was sufficient.
We sa the Place Esquirol and the Place du Capitole. We crossed the Pont Neuf and came in beautiful churches. And we did other things.
