Wwoofing in Ireland, part 2

After leaving Paul and Albi's farm, Paolo and I went to Mandy's place who kindly accepted to welcome us. She could only accept one wwoofer but after telling her by phone how the life was at Paul's place, she couldn't refuse to take only one wwoofer. I asked her if she could also take Paolo and I convinced him to come with me. Paolo and I left on August, 20th in the morning because Albi didn't want us to stay the whole day overthere. She even gave us an ultimatum: staying until the end of the "deal" or leaving right now; the choice was easy for us!

Paolo and I had breakfast in Bantry waiting for the bus to go to Mandy's home (not really far from Macroom). She was waiting for us at the bus stop.

With Paolo, we did gardening, took care after the animals (stone martens, dogs, cat and goats) and we also scraped the walls and painted the hut in the garden. Paolo helped Mandy doing a stone path in the garden.

Mandy taught us how to hunt rabbits by night and prepare them. We visited Macroom with her and we went to a Game Fair and a motocross show.

My stay at Mandy's was awesome. She's really sweet and I wish I stayed there longer (from August, 20th to August, 31st).
