Wwoofing in Florida

After wwoofing in Ireland during 2 months in 2011, I decided to do it again in the US. I wanted to go to Florida because I'm a big fan of Harry Potter and I wanted to go to Orlando at any price in the Harry Potter Theme Park.

So I wwoofed at Susan and Sid's place from July, 11th to August, 29th 2012 in Micanopy, a small town located 3h from Jacksonville.

Susan, Sid and their children (Sidney, Rowan, Sunne and Linnea) are the most welcoming persons I've never known.

We were 8 wwoofers during my stay: one German girl, Alexandra and Americans : Heather, John, Jesse, Mike, Joshua, Rikki.

Alex and I worked together in the garden 4h a day and had our weekends. We were never watched so we weren't under stress. When she left, I also reorganised the library of DVD.

For dinner, we had delicious meals: Sidney made delicious chili con carne, Sid good pastas and the girls awesome cakes. We also watched movies because the family has many DVD.

We went to Gainesville, Micanopy and biked in the countryside where we saw a snake, does, an armadillo and wild turkeys.

At the end of my stay, I went to Universal Studios Orlando with Susan.

And I forgot to say that the family has 100 dogs without counting the ones she sells!
