From July, 22nd to August, 19th 2013, I wwoofed again in the US but in California in order to go to LA and San Francisco until the beginning of september.
So I spent one month in Oregon House, located about 1h30 from Sacramento, at Rebecca and Chris' place. I went there because Sid (I wwoofed at his place in Florida) told me about it and he's her brother.
We were 5 wwoofers: Maurissa, Daniel, Naomi and David, Americans living in Ohio and who wanted to wwoof in many farms.
At Rebecca and Chris' place, we fed animals (rabbits, baby donkey, dogs, cows, goats, billy goat and yak), milked cows, made cheeses (ricotta, chèvre, mozzarella, Boursin) and pies to sell them in the Thursday market.
Rebecca and Sid's mother lives overthere and she's really nice! She loves watching movies with wwoofers sleeping in her RV.
Chris and Rebecca are a nice couple. Chris is really patient and Rebecca is always positive. For dinner, we used to drink good wine from their friends vineyard.
